Overview
Rotherham Holiday Aid is a local charity dedicated to giving families in hardship the chance to enjoy a short UK holiday. Since the 1980s, we’ve supported those affected by poverty, illness, and bereavement—providing a vital break when it’s needed most.
Rotherham Holiday Aid needed an entirely new brand identity to bring them into the modern day and help with their ambitious plans to help families in the Rotherham area.
The task
To create a brand that matched their aspirations as a charity. It needed to feel friendly and tailored to families, as a lot of the people receiving the support would be families with young children.
It required vibrancy, positivity and to shake off the old way of promoting charities – by focusing on outcome rather than the doom and gloom.
The outcome
In the end the final identity was bright, positive and super friendly. Developing the Happy Sun mark along with the playful type meant this brand identity would shine on every output.
From roller banners to apparel it needed that feel good outlook. Afterall, they make memories happen – so they need to be memorable too.
