Overview
Karbon Kelham Bar & Kitchen is based right in the centre of Kelham Island. Boasting an array of tasty cocktails and delicious food.
After the recent success of 53°Norse we worked with the team again to help their next restaurant opening, Karbon.
We developed the initial brand identity with a brand experience to provide inspiration for how they could continue with a rollout. With their eager ambitions to launch before Christmas 2025 we were able to craft an initial identity for the team to then use as they saw fit to prepare for opening day.
The task
Karbon Kelham Bar & Kitchen required us to develop a brand identity that matched the pre-existing restaurant. Karbon secured the venue and everything within it, so this meant that we needed to develop something unique but all while being heavily influenced by the interior design.
The interiors had the feel of a high end cocktail bar, with a range of bar style seating but restaurant spaces. There was an almost 1920s Gatsby style feel to the venue.
The outcome
In the end we developed a unique K mark inspired by aspects of the interiors, and matched well with the aesthetic they planned to keep.
Pairing this with a soft green and gold colour palette to help match the interior tone resulted in a very clean and modern design.
