Overview
Specialists in the automated warehouse and cold-storage logistics sector, our partners had identified critical inconsistencies within stock control training across their global warehouse teams. This was mainly caused by inconsistent onboarding across sites and managers, fragmented documentation, and limited Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) technical skills.
The task
The goal was to provide consistent material for all stock control teams around the world, leading to improved performance and an overall better understanding of the escalation processes.
This came with the challenge of bringing content to life while maintaining consistency for their global workforce.
The outcome
Eight bitesize eLearning modules were developed to teach the key concepts found within stock control. Two characters (relating to different role types) were created and placed in everyday warehouse situations stock controllers would find themselves in, helping to relate.
Filmed video walkthroughs with real employees featured in the training, creating a sense of familiarity for learners. Each module also had simulations of their warehouse software with validation tasks for learners to complete, ensuring knowledge would be retained.
Combining all elements led to the creation of a comprehensive digital learning solution providing warehouse teams with the tools needed to perform consistently within their roles!
